General software development
I have written several automation tools to streamline the execution of several routine processes and activities. I re-factored a key SQL query which was causing a bottleneck in a critical process that led to a reduction in the execution time of the latter by 50 percent. Actuarial analytics
I have completed several exams including the fellowship exams in Investments from the Society of Actuaries of USA and have done actuarial software development for simplifying actuarial processes. I have also analyzed lapse data to construct statistical models that explained and forecasted lapse rates. My work helped the client achieve a reduction in their reserves of $83 million USD.
